All information we receive from the world around us comes to us through our senses. The ability to interpret incoming sensory information allows us to operate or function. Without it we would not be able to act in or on the world. This is an incredible ability, to take images that come to our eyes and understand their colour, size, shape, distance away, orientation, what these objects are and how they relate to us and to each other.
